From a technical standpoint the Cronus uses a triode preamplifier coupled to our excellent Atlas Magnum power amplfier. Finally, precision components are used to provide the transparency and air that are so critical to accurate musical reproduction.

The Sphinx contains a discrete headphone amplifier and an excellent phono section compatable with high output MM and MC cartridges. The Elicit-R has been designed and engineered to the highest standard. The Elicit-R will deliver the best possible audio performance whilst remaining simple to use and easy to setup. Our recent development work in amplifier design circuitry has allowed us to further advance the Elicit-R performance by using new and improved power amplifier circuits (based around the hugely successful Rega Brio-R amplifier).
Combined with FET discrete line level pre-amplifiers and a programmable stepped attenuator volume control, ensuring greater levels of performance and control over the delivery of power. The Elicit-R is supplied with the new Solaris system remote handset offering full control over this and all of the current ‘R’ range of electronics.
The Brio has a completely new case to house its improved circuits and parts. It now sits in a fully aluminium two-part case which boosts the Brio’s heat sinking capabilities and improves on Rega’s already solid build quality and reliability. The new Brio has a cleverly integrated headphone socket specially designed to avoid interference with the audio circuit when not in use and as you would expect, a very high specification moving magnet phono stage is built in as standard.

To maintain a family resemblance with the lower powered amplifier, the EVOLUTION 100A is housed in a similar slim case with engraved front panel and solid metal control knobs as the EVOLUTION 50A. It is available with either a Black or Silver brushed aluminium front panel and uses the same ingenious soft push button design as the EVOLUTION 50 series, offering excellent tactile feel and backlit optical indication of functions, for optimum user-friendliness.
The front panel features a large OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) display. The white on black display provides higher clarity and resolution than a normal display and has a wide range of customised graphic symbols. Display brightness levels can be changed or turned-off, if not required, via the menu system.
In addition to greatly increased performance, thanks to ingenious new circuit design, the EVOLUTION 100A has been equipped with 2 sets of high quality loudspeaker binding posts, with local and remote switching for A & B outputs. Optional extras include the ability to plug the Sequel mk2 Phono pre-amp inside and add theAMBIT FM/AM radio or RUBY DAC/Bluetooth/FM radio module to the expansion slot on the rear panel.

Creek’s Senior Engineer – David Gamble – who has much experience in the audio industry developed a completely new bi-polar transistor power amplifier circuit especially for the EVOLUTION 50A with very high open-loop gain and low distortion. Featuring a pair of Sanken 15 Amp power transistors, with built-in thermal compensation for rapid bias tracking performance, the Power Amplifier circuit has very low output impedance and can produce high output current. This combination will provide exceptional speed and control with most loudspeakers.
The A-88T is another incredible hand-crafted tube amplifier by Cayin with remarkable capabilities. The MK3 version further improves upon its predecessor’s rich, full sound quality.
Four EL34 or KT88 tube components are used for Class AB1 push-pull amplification, while the input stage utilizes 6SL7 and 6SN7 pieces for voltage regulation. The unit features point-to-point wiring, a high-quality Japanese ALPS motor potentiometer, and a silver-plated signal cable. Two EI output transformers with wide bandwidth and one specially-designed toroid power transformer set the A-88T MK3 apart from its peers. A soft start function (about 30 seconds) and other measures have been put into place for better protection of the power transformer and output transformers. Like its A-50T counterpart, the A-88T includes a removable cage and full-function remote control.
The CS-55A is the most recent advancement in tube amplifier technology created by Cayin. This state-of-the-art machine boasts forty watts per channel by using 4 KT88 tubes in Class AB ultra-linear push pull amplification. The CS-55A consists of four pairs of input: one Phono, a USB port, and two line inputs giving a wide range of options for any listener.
